Image Diary of Slavery in the Americas

To view the images correctly, view them in the order, left to right, top to bottom in which they are presented on the page.  Scroll your curser across the top of the picture and click the picture to open the picture, and see the image best pixel quality full screen.   Once you have opened the first picture you can simply click the left arrow that appears on the picture to scroll through all of the images.

1. While viewing the images, write a list of 10-15 short phrases, and/or words recording and/or encapsulating the events, ideas, emotions expressed in the pictures.
2. Once completed with the research, post your list of phrases or words within the Google Doc. that has been shared with you entitled: The roots of Slavery in America.
3. When finished create a Cinquin Poem (see Assignment 4, Part B) following your summary words,  within the Google Doc (The roots of Slavery in America)  that has been shared with you.
