Your daughter/son is growing up in a technology driven world. In a 21st century classroom he or she will participate regularly in collaborative learning activities, be engaged in leaning activities that ensure digital literacy, and practice learning that encourages critical thinking, and problem-solving; all skills that ensure students thrive in today's world. Building a classroom that encourages 21st century learning is expensive. Ensuring a 1:1 computer ratio, purchasing projectors, teleprompters, screens, smart boards, digital cameras, paper, pens, card stock, supporting texts and novels and providing the students with field experiences all costs money. When you make a donation to your student's learning, coupled with employer and business matching funds, you ensure 21st Century learning is available to your child. On arrival at the Alpine Foundation page, open the "Donate" link. This link will take you to the Alpine Foundation Donation tab, there you will submit your credit card, bank or PayPal information. BE SURE TO IDENTIFY THE PURPOSE of your donation, i.e. Classroom Donation Mrs Haley Forman Willowcreek Middle School. See the example on the left. If not identified the instructor will be unable to access these funds to help your student in the classroom. IF UNABLE TO IDENTIFY THE PURPOSE OF YOUR DONATION OF THE DONATION FORM PLEASE EMAIL: [email protected] IDENTIFY THE AMOUNT DONATED, THE SCHOOL (WILLOWCREEK) AND THE INSTRUCTORS NAME (FORMAN) Be sure to keep a copy of your donation as it can be used for a deduction come tax time! Make the first move. Contact your Community Relations Manager with a copy of your receipt. Many companies in our area are happy to match, in some cases double your donation, after all their kids live here too, and their matched donation will help make our students more marketable and better employees in the 21st century workplace And, let's be honest, telling your employer you're committed to education makes you look good! Simply send them the link used above (copied below as well), and or have them contact the Alpine Foundation directly to match the donation.
