Spanish Phonetics
Students took notes from a PP on the Spanish alphabet. Students who missed class can download and use the PP to learn Spanish Phonetics. A copy of the phonetic guide and PP are available on the right.

Your instructor will provide you with a code to enter the Fripgrid Community. On arrival at th site the instructions read: "Welcome to our Flipgrid community! This is a space where we will practice and evauate our Spanish Pronunciation"

Phonetics Exam makeupIf making up the phonetics exam, please 1)put on headsets 2) listen to at least one of the instructional videos on phonetics, 3) Listen to the audio recording above and write down the names being said. You will need to reference the name wordle below to help you complete the listening portion of the exam. Turn in your completed work to the instructor, during Pridetime or after school to be graded, evaluated and posted. Good luck!

Parents will learn classroom policies and procedures they will get to know the instructor and take the online Disclosure Document survey, this includes information on signing up for Remind text messages. Students will be motivated to study Spanish through an Introductory Spanish Jeopardy Game Greetings
Quizlet & Flash Cards: Greetings Students will learn and practice basic greetings. They will create a quizlet account, and link the account to their teacher's class and period. Students will create a 56 question multiple choice Spanish I, Unit I Vocabulary test to inform instruction. Unit I Vocabulary Cards

Students were presented with the Saludos, including a video greeting activity, a list of the vocabulary and instructions for making flash cards, using flash cards to study and practicing the saludos with the PowerPoint below Greetings Matching
Students will practice basic Greetings through a Greetings Matching Game Students will complete Saludos & Despedidas Fill in the Blank assignment to practice written dialogue. Students who missed class may pick up a copy from the instructor, or print the assignment, then attend a Pridetime, or come in after school to grade, evaluate and post their work. Students who did poorly may complete the original assignment (above) when finished they should complete the make up assignment (below), then attend a Pridetime and/or come in after school to grade, evaluate and post their assignment.
Saludos Crossword
Students completed an activity (attached) where they practice their use of saludos (greetings) and despedidads (farewells). Students who missed their are responsible for collecting their work and completing it. They will need to meet with the teacher after school grade, evaluate and post their assignment Students who did not complete their assignment, (or who wish to redo their work) will need to turn in the corrected, complete copy of the assignment (in red pen), when finished they will need to visit https://www.quia.com/hm/261368.html and complete the activity When finished they need to print a copy of the final score sheet, and bring it to the instructor on Tuesday afternoon with a copy of the original assignment to grade, evaluate and post the completed assignment Matching Makeup
